In Bydgoszcz, Poland, he broke the reigning Olympic champion Keshorn Walcott’s mark with a throw of 86.48 meters, setting a new world junior record. He was the first Indian athlete to do so. Neeraj is the current Olympic and world champion javelin thrower, making him one of the greatest in the world.

At the Eugene 2022 World Championships, he also took home a silver medal. The Indian celebrity defended her gold medal at the Asian Games in Hangzhou in 2023. Neeraj also talked about his interests outside of work, such as a brief shopping habit that resulted in an intricate international transaction.

“I like a variety of pastimes. I enjoy spending time with my pals. Although I used to enjoy shopping a lot, I now shop less since I think it’s a waste of money. We have other places to spend that money. I enjoy gathering unusual items. I once passed by a store in Germany that had original artwork. Without giving it any thought, I purchased a statue of a warrior seated on a horse and hurling a spear—more accurately, a javelin. It weighed 20 kg.
