Yuvraj Singh Biopic Announced: What We Know About the Film on the Cricket Legend

Indian cricket icon Yuvraj Singh’s life story gets cinematic treatment. T-Series, a big name in Indian films, will produce the film. It will chronicle the life and career of a cricketing superstar. T-Series Films’ official Instagram and X accounts shared the news on Tuesday.

“Six Sixes” captures Yuvraj Singh’s remarkable life journey on film. He went from a World Cup hero to a cancer survivor. This biopic aims to capture the essence of Yuvraj’s inspiring story, both on and off the cricket field.

The film’s makers feel excited. They said, “Relive the legend’s journey from the pitch to the hearts of millions. Yuvraj Singh’s story of grit and glory is coming soon to the big screen!”

T-Series head Bhushan Kumar, known for hits like “Animal” and “Kabir Singh,” will produce the film. He will work with producer Ravi Bhagchandka, who made the 2017 doc “Sachin: A Billion Dreams.”

Variety reports that the film will recreate an iconic moment. It’s Yuvraj’s historic feat. He hit six sixes in an over against England’s Stuart Broad in the 2007 T20 World Cup. It will also show Yuvraj’s fight with cancer, his 2012 return to cricket, and his 2019 retirement.
